"Had Enough Weiner?"

When I first caught sight of Kevin Jackson’s post, I thought: Why didn’t I think of that?

“That” would be his title: “Had Enough Weiner?”

As it happens, I didn’t.

So, credit goes to Jackson for making an effort to end our collective obsession with someone he calls a “weapon of mass distraction.”

Jackson treats the current Weiner crisis with humor. But he is correct to emphasize the fact that all the time we spend speculating about Anthony Weiner is time not spent dealing with the problems and issues of the day.

Whose fault is that? Why that would be the fault of the Congressman who does not have the decency to resign.

We certainly can talk about more important things but we really can't do much about most of them until Nov 2012 ... so why not focus on a scumb*g of a man who deserves every bit of scorn we can heap on him ...

Good point... he certainly does deserve it and it would be difficult to justify letting it go away as though nothing had happened.
